Gardening Together

Join the Give it a Grow Wigan team on the last Sunday of the month at beautiful St Anne’s Community Garden in Beech Hill. This is a lovely family-friendly garden get-together with biscuits and a brew. Everyone is welcome.

Join us for various jobs around the garden: weeding, planting, pruning, tending to fruit and vegetables, and working in the greenhouse. No experience is needed; we can help you with anything we’re doing, and even if you are experienced, you might learn something new!

Gardening with us is an easy way to get outdoors and be gently active as the days get a little warmer, and we’re a friendly bunch! If children want to join in, they’re always welcome to help, but there are also toys if they want to just play.

Please wear clothing suitable for the weather, and bring hand tools if you have them.
