The Springfield Beech Hill Gidlow Tool Library
is now open!
We have a library of tools for community use in Wigan West. To join the Tool Library, follow these three simple steps.
Join as a member of SBHG
Complete the Waiver form from CommUnity Corner and pay £5 (if applicable)
Submit your request for tools
We will sort out the rest.
If you are a member of the community lottery, the library is free to use, and you can borrow any tool for three days at a time. If you are a non-paying member, it’s just £5 for 6 months.
Tools Available for hire
In the library, we have power tools such as Hedge trimmers, lawn mowers and strimmers, and a number of hand tools like rakes, watering cans, dutch hoes, wheel barrows, spades, hedge shears, edging irons, secateurs and weed pullers.
Now you can get those jobs done at home without buying costly equipment. Please enquire for a complete list.
If you are already a SBHG member, pop into CommUnity Corner (55a Park Road, Wigan, WN6 7AA) to complete the waiver and get started.
